Hi, I’m Raeann.
I’m a lifelong Prince Edward Island resident with a passion for local history, storytelling, and exploring the places that make our communities unique.
Like many Islanders, I’ve always enjoyed sharing stories about the places I call home. Whether it’s a famous historical event, a forgotten local legend, or an interesting piece of folklore, I’ve discovered that every town has stories waiting to be told.
After travelling and experiencing guided tours in other destinations, I realized there was an opportunity to create something similar here on Prince Edward Island—while giving visitors the freedom to explore at their own pace.
That’s how Tour My Town PEI was born.
Through GPS-guided audio tours, I help visitors discover the people, places, and stories that shaped our Island. Instead of simply pointing out landmarks, my tours bring them to life with history, humour, local folklore, and little-known facts that most visitors never hear.
Whether you’re exploring the streets of Charlottetown or driving the scenic coastline around Tignish and North Cape, my goal is simple:
To help you experience Prince Edward Island through the stories that make it special.

Why I Love Sharing PEI's Stories
Some of my favourite stories aren’t found in guidebooks. They’re the stories passed down through generations, shared around kitchen tables, or tucked away in old newspaper archives waiting to be rediscovered.
I love uncovering the people, legends, and events that helped shape Prince Edward Island. Whether it’s Harold Hackett’s messages in a bottle, the Battle of Tignish, tales of hoop snakes and Pukwudgies, or the fascinating characters who once called these communities home, every story offers a glimpse into the Island’s unique past.
Through Tour My Town PEI, I get to share those stories with visitors from around the world and help them experience the Island in a different way.
